Andrea Haffly

Litigation Paralegal

HISTORY

Andrea is a Washington State native. She began her career as a paralegal following a short period as a community journalist. She primarily supports attorney Jeffery Whalley in family law cases such as divorce, custody, and more. However, as part of the Whalley Law team, she lends her experience and skills whenever needed to other lawyers and coworkers.

Andrea’s years of legal experience have been focused on family law and civil cases, especially in complex and high conflict cases. Her journalism experience, combined with her history degree from Seattle University, provide her with writing, research, and analytical skills that she uses daily to benefit Whalley Law clients. Her years working as a paralegal have leant her insight and compassion for clients facing deeply personal issues in court.

PASSION

Andrea has a strong sense of justice that motivates both her career and personal life. She brings this drive for justice to Whalley Law on behalf of all our clients. She is dedicated to our clients and continuously strives to expand her knowledge in family and civil law to better serve Whalley Law clients and their families.

Andrea has both broad experience in family law and specialized knowledge supporting clients facing domestic abuse or who have been falsely accused of domestic abuse, in managing high conflict and complex cases, and in navigating military divorce (including child support). Her personal areas of interest are focused on the best interests of children and in fathers’ rights regarding their children, custody, and child support.

Andrea loves living and working in University Place and enjoying nearby Tacoma. When not at work, she enjoys reading, writing, baking, spending time with her family in Pierce, King, and Kitsap counties, and in spoiling her two cats.
